The Old Post Office is a beautifully presented, characterful house with exposed beamed ceilings and slate floors. Having recently been refurbished it now offers a wonderful mix of contemporary kitchen and bathroom with the cottage style bedrooms and reception rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom has both a bath and rain shower. Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, it offers an extremely comfortable level of accommodation for six guests.
All our properties are personally appraised by our team, who work in association with Visit England to ensure quality standards are upheld.

Dating back to the 1860's and formerly the Post Office and Stores for the village, this wonderfully atmospheric cottage now offers beautifully presented, characterful accommodation with exposed beamed ceilings and wooden latched doors. The cottage is situated on a very quiet lane, yet the village centre is only 100 metres away. St Mawgan boasts the well-known Falcon Inn with restaurant and beer garden. There is a village shop which offers popular cream teas and a tearoom offering gorgeous freshly made treats. The picturesque Japanese garden and Bonsai tree nursery in the village is well worth a visit. Perfectly placed to explore, being just a five minute drive from three stunning beaches - Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan Steps. Mawgan Porth is a family friendly beach complete with rock pools to explore. Nearby Watergate Bay boasts some of the best watersports in the region, as well as Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant. There are many great places for dining out nearby including Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, Nathan Outlaw's in Rock and The Lewinnick Lodge in nearby Newquay. Cornwall's famous gardens such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within easy reach, as are the pretty fishing towns of Padstow and St Ives with many fine shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. Family attractions nearby include Dairyland, Crealy and Old Macdonald's Farm. Relax in the sitting room or socialise around the dining table by the cosy wood burning stove. There is an enticing snug to steal yourself away and read a good book with stairs to a super comfy double bedroom with ornate fireplace and far reaching country views. The modern kitchen is well equipped with quality items for your self catering holiday. Enjoy an invigorating shower in the double rain shower in the contemporary bathroom or a soak in the Japanese style bath. There are two further sumptuous bedrooms with ample fitted storage and fabulous leafy views. Outside is an attractive sunny courtyard garden with gas barbecue, fire pit and plenty of comfortable seating for those balmy summer evenings. With everything this area has to offer this really does make The Old Post Office the perfect holiday home for friends, families and couples.

3 Bedrooms - Sleeping up to 6 Adults Ground Floor: Sitting Room with 32" TV. Kitchen. Dining Room with wood burner. Bathroom with short bath with handheld shower, separate double walk-in rain shower and WC. Separate WC. Snug with steep narrow stairs to Bedroom 2 Double. From the hallway one flight of stairs with handrail to the First Floor: Bedroom 1 with 6' bed. Bedroom 3 Double. Other amenities: FREE wi-fi, Bluetooth speaker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, wine cooler, gas barbecue with gas supplied and fire pit. One basket of logs provided. Towels bed linen and oil fired central heating included. One pet welcome at £25 per week. The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of wood, carpeting, slate and rug flooring throughout. The external door is 95cm x 177cm and the internal doors range from 62cm - 76cm in width and 175cm - 195cm in height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The enclosed garden is paved with one step to the barbecue area and three steps to the side gate. There is off road parking for two cars on a level gravel surface approximately 5m from the entrance.
