We have had a fabulous week. Can only agree with others when they have said it's a "home from home." Thank you to all the family (including the cows) for making us so welcome. It's the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in and the welcome pack was a very thoughtful addition - thank you. It's an ideal location for Truro and all the surrounding beaches. We look forward to coming back soon.

We would just like to sincerely thank Sarah and her whole family for the hospitality shown to 4 aging male body boarders having been let off for a week by our wives. The house was perfect and we could not have asked for anything more, having all the creature comforts of home. The Blue and White ‘pet’ cows were extraordinary and the biggest we have ever seen. Sansigra is also ideally situated right by the A30 if you want to see more of Cornwall. This place will certainly be at the top of our list next year.

A pretty village setting close to Cornwall's spectacular north coast and well placed for jaunts to the beaches at St Agnes and Perranporth, Sansigra is a lovely homestay for families with a sunny garden for barbecues and a modern homely interior. A substantial home arranged over two floors and accommodating up to six guests in four good-sized bedrooms, Sansigra is a self-contained annexe to the owner's home located on a farm for pedigree show cattle in the rural village of Zelah. Perfect for explorers, the A30 is a 5 minute drive and for walkers, there are miles of beautiful coast and bridle paths with good pubs en route. Popular among surfers, summer bathers and dog walkers is the golden sands and white surf of Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes, with a lifeguard service during the summer months and a surf school offering tuition and equipment hire. This cosmopolitan seaside resort is less than a 20 minute drive and has excellent restaurants, traditional pubs, boutique shops and galleries to explore. You are also a short distance from the sand dunes, rock pools and caves at Perranporth Beach as well as visitor hotspots at St Ives, Truro, Newquay and Padstow. The perfect base for a fun family holiday, children will love the nearby Blue Reef Aquarium, Crealy Adventure Park, Dairyland Farm World, Lappa Valley Steam Railway and Newquay Zoo and, great in all weathers, the owners have thoughtfully provided indoor and outdoor games, DVDs, books and toys plus the chance to meet the cows (under the owner's supervision). Pets are well catered for too with creature comforts for dogs including a comfy dog bed and information on dog-friendly walks, beaches and pubs nearby. Set back from the road with rural views, sometimes of the cows in the field, a stay here here is truly relaxing and comfortable. A reverse-level layout, the open-plan living room with a well equipped kitchen is the hub. Slide open the doors to the balcony for countryside views and fresh Cornish air, relax on the plump settee or reclining armchairs in front of the 43" TV or enjoy leisurely meals together at the large dining table. Practical for groups, each of the four bedrooms is equipped with a TV and there is a wet room, bathroom and two separate WCs. Guests have their own patch of garden complete with barbecue and furniture for alfresco meals and sundowners.

The front door is 78cmx192cm and the internal doors range from 70cm-78cm in width and 190cm-196cm in height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. There is a garden, accessed from the front door, with uneven lawns and paths for guests sole use in front of the property. There is a fish pond within the grounds. There is off road parking for three cars on a level tarmac surface located less than 10m from the entrance.
