Speedwell is a modern family home in the heart of the beautiful Charlestown harbour. Just a short stroll from the bars, restaurants and waters edge, guests can really make the most of this magical location. Speedwell is a real home from home and guests will be very comfortable here. parking right outside the front door is another huge asset especially in the busy summer months.

A special coastal retreat, this immaculate cottage is a one minute walk from Charlestown's incredible harbour and sandy beach, recently used as a location for the filming of Poldark. A daily stroll around this historic unspoilt village will reveal elegant Georgian Houses, quaint fisherman's cottages, coffee shops, gift shops and a rather good pub. Charlestown, a Unesco World Heritage Site, still survives as a working port as well as being home to The Phoenix, a magnificent two masted tall ship which is open to the public (please check times in advance) and runs voyages out of Charlestown harbour subject to their sailing programme. The village is also home to the Shipwreck, Rescue and Heritage Centre, a mighty collection of artefacts including pieces from the Titanic. Slap bang in the middle of the Cornish Riviera, other coastal hotspots nearby include Mevagissey, Looe and Fowey and we recommend the latter for a day of browsing galleries and boutiques followed by a waterside lunch and a spot of boat watching. For keen walkers, the South West Coastal path meanders through the village and around the south coast revealing hidden coves, wooded valleys and cliff top drama. The biomes of the Eden Project are also within ten minutes drive, host to a wide range of music and arts events throughout the year, it is much more than a collection of tropical plants. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a great nearby visitor attraction for all the family. Speedwell has been thoughtfully furnished to create a homely and welcoming space to return to at the end of the day. The open plan living room has a cosy gas fire and patio doors leading to the enclosed rear garden. The kitchen is light and airy and well equipped with everything you will need for your self catering holiday. Sit back with an evening tipple and listen to the trickling waters of the little stream that runs just behind the garden. Perfect for couples or families, the three bedrooms are tastefully decorated with crisp white linens and fluffy towels completing the picture.

First Floor: Bedroom 1 with 5' bed. Bedroom 2 Double. Bedroom 3 Single. Bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Other amenities: Freezer, tumble dryer. FREE Wi-Fi. Towels, bed linen and gas central heating included. One pet welcome at £25 per week. The property offers accommodation over two floors and has laminate flooring and carpets throughout. The external doors range from 76cm to 109cm in width and 196cm to 197cm in height. Internal doors range from 76cm in width and 1896cm to 198cm in height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The garden has a mixture of patio, gravel and paths (please note there is a small stream that runs just outside the rear fence to the property). There is parking for two cars on a tarmac surface opposite the front door.
