Set in a peaceful and private country hamlet, close to the coastline of the Cornish Riviera and amongst a cluster of pretty stone properties, Blacksmith's Cottage is a sympathetically refurbished and tastefully furnished rural retreat, infused with warmth, comfort and traditional character throughout. The spacious, open plan kitchen and dining area is a great area for socialising and the cosy living room, with it's butter-soft leather suite, exposed beams and toasty electric wood burner, provides warmth and relaxation. Stairs ascend to two comfy bedrooms: a romantic and vintage inspired four poster double, and a bright and spacious room featuring a trio of single beds. A small, sheltered and enclosed garden offers a relaxing environment, perfect for alfresco dining, and the surrounding shared grounds offer up hidden gems including a games room, tennis court, outdoor play area, seasonal putting green and - to the delight of many children - an assortment of small animals!

Blacksmith's Cottage is perfect for those seeking to escape to the mellow countryside and sandy beaches on the Cornish Riviera. Situated less than a 10 minute drive from the bustling fishing port and beaches of Looe and the old world charm of Polperro, this traditional Cornish stone cottage offers the chance to unwind in rural peace. Families, walkers and romantics flock to this private hamlet of twelve beautiful self-catering properties set within 3.5 acres of award winning landscaped gardens, close to the village of Pelynt with its 16th century pub restaurant and beer garden. Blacksmith's Cottage is superbly crafted for families, to ensure that both parents and children have fun. Children love to feed the friendly miniature ponies, ducks, rabbits and Pygmy goats and there is a seasonal putting green; tennis court with practice wall; games room with pool table, darts and table tennis; outdoor play area and outdoor games including Swingball, Giant Jenga and Giant Plus4. It is also a firm favourite among pet owners with walks from the front door and local dog friendly pubs and beaches. Inside tradition, comfort and practicality combine. The ground floor accommodation includes a newly refurbished kitchen dining room and a cosy sitting room equipped with an electric wood burner. The second bedroom is furnished with three single beds to suit both adults and children and the bathroom is pristine and modern. The exclusive waterside town of Fowey with its independent shops, galleries and waterfront restaurants and pubs is within a short drive and there are numerous opportunities nearby for golf, cycling, surfing, horse riding, sailing and kayaking.

2 Bedrooms Sleeping up to 5 Adults 2 steps down to entrance: Ground Floor: Kitchen Dining Room. Sitting Room with 32" TV and electric wood burner. Flight of stairs to First Floor: Bedroom 1 Double. Bedroom 2 with 3 Single Beds. Bathroom with bath, shower over and WC. Other amenities: FREE wi-fi, dishwasher, fridge freezer, highchair, moveable stair-gate, hair dryer, charcoal barbecue and shared and enclosed barbecue terrace. Towels, bed linen and oil central heating included. Baby monitor and dog throw available on request. Communal laundry facilities with a small charge. Two PETS GO FREE. The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of carpeting, tile and rug flooring throughout. The external and internal doors are of a standard width and height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The enclosed garden has a mixture of lawn and slate paths. Wider grounds are of lawn with slate, cobbled and gravel paths. Parents should be aware of the fenced and gated duck pond within the grounds. There is one parking space less than 2m from the front door and a second parking space which is covered and less than 10m from the front door.
