The vibrant harbour resort of Looe, the enigmatic fishing cove of Polperro and colourful Fowey are all nearby. Well Cottage nestles near the village of Herodsfoot, 4 miles south west of Liskeard where four valleys meet with streams joining the west Looe River. Explore and discover the woodlands and spy the deer, or drive to historical Bodmin Moor, with ruggedly beautiful and wild landscape whispering legends and fables. The scenic resort of Looe is a great spot for boat excursions, beach escapades, harbour walks and refreshment. Step back in time and visit charismatic Polperro, a picturesque fishing village with spectacular sea and country views and galleries for perusal - don't miss the arts and musical festival in June. Fowey is easily reached via the Bodinnick ferry, with boutiques and art galleries and eateries for all tastes. Well Cottage offers superbly presented and detached generously proportioned accommodation, over two floors. The sitting room is elegantly furnished and oozes comfort with leather sofas, a big wood burner, ceiling beams and chandeliers for added decadence, with French doors leading to one of the sunny patios. The kitchen is equally country smart with all the mod cons, and the dining room is ideal for food gatherings with sofa for relaxation too. The lower ground floor boasts two spaciously designed bedrooms, both with luxuriously large beds (one will convert to twin beds on request) and TV's, and the master offers an en-suite bathroom and French doors to another paved courtyard. For the energetic, the fitness room will get the heart pumping, or avoid the workout and simply sit back and relax in the sauna cabin. The family bathroom has a big, big bath plus a walk in cubicle for soaks and showers. Dine alfresco in the pretty landscaped garden, meander across the pasture or enjoy an evening glass of Shiraz on the bench seat.

This property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of wood, carpet, tiles and rugs throughout. The external doors are not standard ranging from 83 - 108cm in width and 192 - 200cm in height. Internal doors are not standard ranging from 66 - 81cm in width and 188 - 201cm in height. Kitchen work tops are standard height, 91cm. There is parking on the driveway for 2 cars, on a level gravel surface. From the driveway, a gentle slope down leads to 4 steps up to the main entrance.
