Trelan has been carefully and tastefully renovated, it oozes charm and character and creates a really "wow" factor. Guests will love the beautiful bedrooms with the attractive feature walls and the modern, sleek bathrooms. The contemporary decoration downstairs creates a stunning kitchen and two chic living/ dining areas full of modern comforts for all guests. The easy parking and spectacular garden continues to delight, offering guests every comfort they might possibly require.

Trelan is a beautifully styled, well equipped property. It is extremely comfortable and has plenty of kitchen equipment so eating at the cottage was a pleasure. It's only a few minutes drive from some gorgeous beaches, Pentewan was our favourite. The farm shop at Heligan is close by and is very well stocked especially for a bbq. The local pub in St Ewe is also worth a visit. We would certainly rent this property again when returning to the area.

Trelan is a luxurious and elegant period cottage, stuffed with character and just a short drive to sandy beaches, charming fishing villages, exotic gardens and foodie-fit restaurants. Tucked away in the pretty rural village of St Ewe, two miles from stunning St Austell Bay on the Cornish Riviera, it offers a varied holiday experience combined with the chance to relax and unwind. This beautifully finished family-sized home sits in a peaceful setting with far reaching countryside views to the rear and a 15th century church and 16th century inn and restaurant within paces. The historic fishing village of Mevagissey with its sandy beach, the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan and Pentewen Beach and valley trail with cycle hire are all less than a 10 minute drive. A little farther afield is the world famous Eden Project with its rain forest biomes, the maritime town of Fowey with independent shops and harbour front restaurants and pubs and the iconic port of Charlestown, renowned for its tall ships and for the filming of the BBC's Poldark series. Scenic walks can commence from the front door, along footpaths leading from the village through mellow countryside or along the nearby coast path. Return from rambling escapades to a delicious supper of local fare at the inn before basking on plump settees beside the comforting wood burner in the sitting room amid velvety cushions and a Reindeer fur throw. Designed for families and with practicality in mind, there are two sitting rooms, two bathrooms and four TV's. The combination of cool white walls, local art, wooden shutters, gorgeous beams, rug topped wood floors, vintage treasures, latch doors and deep set windows is the signature look throughout. The kitchen has everything you need to get creative with local produce from the village farm shop and vineyards on your doorstep. The bedrooms have a strong romantic presence with sumptuous textiles, decorative wall coverings, deep mattresses and candles. Outside is an enclosed garden with a lawn and sheltered patio for barbecues and alfresco meals as well as off-road and garage parking.

3 Bedrooms - Sleeping up to 6 Adults Ground Floor: Entrance Hall. Sitting/Dining Room with wood burner and 42" TV with blue ray DVD. Kitchen. Sitting Room with 31.5" TV/DVD (open fire is not in operation). One flight of stairs to First Floor: Bedroom 1 with 5' bed and 21.5" TV/DVD and one step up to en-suite Shower Room with WC. Bedroom 2 Double. Bedroom 3 Twin with 21.5" TV/DVD. Bathroom with Bath, shower over and WC. Other amenities: FREE wi-fi, Nintendo Wii with games, iPod dock, DAB radio, board games, two hair dryers, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, stair-gate (fixed at the top and bottom of the stairs), running machine (located in the garage) and charcoal barbecue. First basket of logs included. Secure storage for surf boards and bikes. Towels, bed linen and oil central heating included. Wooden window shutters will be installed in February 2016. The accommodation is arranged over two floors and has a mixture of wood, rugs, carpet and tile flooring throughout. External doors range from 76cm - 84cm in width and 176cm - 198cm in height. Internal doors range from 69cm - 75cm in width and 182cm - 198cm in height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The garden has lawn and patio areas with connecting paths and steps. Access is through the kitchen or at the side of the cottage. There is parking for one car in a garage and for one car on the drive less than a 5m level walk from the entrance. Quiet village but close enough to St Austell, Mevagissey and attractions such as the lost gardens of Heligan. The house was spacious, we'll equipped and very comfortable.
