Thanks for providing such a great place for our holiday. Lanhydrock was fantastic, ferry from St Mawes to Falmouth and Maritime Museum also good. Rented bikes for the ride to Heligan - great fun but beware the hill!

Just a short walk from the white sands of Pentewan Beach, Sea Cliff Cottage has been sympathetically transformed to blend the beautiful original architecture with a relaxed French country-chic twist. This immaculate Grade II Listed holiday home sits within a private cul de sac above the village, with lovely views across the valley. Perfect for friends or a family get together, the house is on the tranquil South Cornish coastline and well placed to explore the picture perfect coves and azure blue waters. The popular harbour towns of Mevagissey and Charlestown can be reached via a short drive. The pretty seaside village of Pentewan is set just below the cottage. This characterful village is packed with Cornish charm from the traditional country pub, The Ship Inn which serves excellent food, to the local stores and gift shop. Pentewan Sands Park is within walking distance offering a smart new leisure centre with 2 heated indoor pools and a play park as well as a Hub Box gourmet burger restaurant on the beach. The clear waters offer safe swimming and are popular for watersports from water skiing to kayaking and there is a local surf shop in the village. The more recently created Pentewan Bike Trail is popular with all ages leading you along the river and through the woods. Garden lovers will enjoy the botanical wonderland of Heligan Gardens or the nearby Eden Project. This very special home offers a warm welcome with a light and airy ambiance. Lead into the dining room with large white wooden dining table, traditional log burner and pretty window seat. This versatile space becomes the hub of the house as guests gather over supper or a morning coffee and papers. The kitchen and utility area has been thoughtfully kitted out with ample pots, pans and crockery. Retire to the sitting room with cosy log burner for those cooler evenings. On the ground floor is a bunk bedded room with country cottage decor. A central staircase leads to the 1st floor, choose from 3 boutique style bedrooms. The twin room offers a large flat screen TV with XBox 360 (handsets not provided). To the front is a charming stone veranda which affords dramatic sunset views across Pentewan Valley. Below this is a sunken dining area with large wooden dining table, barbecue and heaters for chillier evenings. Climb the steps from the first floor to the rear terraced gardens with lawns, built in barbecue and drinks fridge and a large stone dining table. Kids will love the trampoline at the top! A real bonus is the 2 car parking spaces in front of the house.
