Quayside provides an enchanting and stylish romantic retreat for two, set in a pretty terrace in the tranquil and sleepy waterside village of Cargreen. The open plan living area cocoons with it's warm, relaxing and super stylish interior, and the well equipped and beautifully presented kitchen makes self catering a delight. A wonderfully comfortable and spacious bedroom awaits upstairs, with an attractive blend of elegant and contemporary furnishings, and breathtaking views over the Tamar estuary, and the vast ensuite is luxurious with a modern, walk in shower and a freestanding claw foot bath, perfect for long, indulgent soaks. The character cottage features the loveliest of outdoor living spaces to the rear, with a stylish, sheltered sun trap garden and terraces and - if the wonderfully relaxing and peaceful pace of life ever gets too much - there are sandy beaches, bustling ports and market towns and moorland and countryside to explore nearby.

Just moments from the banks of the Tamar River, this super stylish cottage is the perfect retreat for couples. Step inside to a clever blend of cosy and contemporary with masses of space for two to kick back and relax. The ground floor has an open plan layout with cosy sitting area around the wood burning stove, dining area with ultra-modern table and chairs and a well-equipped kitchen beyond this. On the first floor the vast bedroom has a great feeling of light and space with vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and stripped floors. With views across the river from the bedroom, what better excuse for breakfast in bed. Completing the picture is a super spacious en-suite bathroom with Victorian claw foot bath and double shower, fluffy towels, bathrobes and toiletries. The garden at the rear of the cottage has been landscaped to provide a private alfresco dining area adjacent to the kitchen with steps up to a suntrap terrace with bistro table - the perfect spot for morning coffee. Cargreen is a quaint village perched on the western bank of the Tamar River within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is home to a yacht club and in the summer months the wide expanse of water comes to life with sailing boats, motocraft and dinghies. The village has a good slipway so bring a kayak or dinghy and explore the waters up river to Calstock or down towards Plymouth Sound. If you prefer to stay on dry land you can also fish off the quay. The Landulph Peninsula forms part of a World Heritage Site dotted with pretty villages plus fabulous walking and stunning riverside scenery. The south coast beaches are within easy driving distance - head to Whitsand Bay for three miles of sand, sea and surf. Dartmoor National Park is also on the doorstep for wonderful walks with or without four legged friends. There are good eating pubs in Carkeel (The Cooked Inn) and Tideford (The Rod & Line) or you may just opt to stock up at Waitrose in Saltash and fire up the barbecue!

The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a wooden and laminate flooring with rugs throughout. External doors are standard height and width. Internal doors range from 67cm - 76 cm wide and 182- 193 in height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The garden has paved and gravel surfaces. Roadside parking is usually available close to the cottage.
