Arrival & departure

Generally, we ask our guests to arrive at the property no earlier than 3pm or 4pm. This is simply to ensure we have done everything we need to and that the cottage is cleaned and prepared for your arrival.

Each cottage or apartment is unique and the time needed will differ from property to property. Arrival and departure times for your chosen property will be confirmed in writing when you have paid your holiday balance. Please check with one of our customer advisors for further details.

Arriving later?

The caretaker or housekeeper will always work hard to provide a warm welcome to your holiday cottage. Outside lights are generally left on in Winter or if guests are arriving late, but it is always advisable to bring a torch as many areas can be unlit.

When you leave

We kindly ask that you leave the cottage as you found it - obviously we don't expect you to do a deep clean, but we would expect to find the property in a reasonable state.

Departure from the cottage is usually 10am, but again this will be confirmed in your final confirmation documents alongside your arrival time.
