Pets in holiday properties

Many of our cottages will welcome well behaved pets. If you are planning on bringing a dog, cat, tortoise or rabbit, you can search for pet friendly properties to ensure you only see those willing to welcome your extra family member.

Each property page displays a section with 'at a glance' information on the rating, facilities and accommodation on offer. This section will tell you whether or not the owner of that property is happy to accept pets or not. Assistance dogs are allowed in all properties, even where the property description states that pets are not allowed. You should bear this in mind if you have pet allergies.

More information

Some property owners make a small additional charge for your pet's holiday, while many now offer your pet to go away free of charge. We will make you aware of this charge when you come to book, or you can see this information in the Accommodation and Accessibility section on the property details page. To see all properties where your pet goes free, please click here.

There are some general rules which we ask our guests and their pets to bear in mind during their holiday:

  • Please keep your pet(s) out of bedrooms and off the furniture.
  • Please do not leave any pet(s) alone in the cottage.
  • Please respect others in the area and clean up after your pet.

As a rule, a maximum of two pets are allowed in each cottage, but some owners will only accept one. Similarly, some owners will consider taking more.

Outside areas including beaches

Please note that many Cornish beaches are closed to dogs from Easter to 1st October annually, but we are able to help you find your nearest dog friendly beach easily.

Not all gardens will be fully enclosed and while we will do our best to tell you everything you need to know online, we can offer first hand knowledge of the garden if you are particularly worried.

If you are in any doubt or want to discuss your pet coming on holiday with you please call us on 01326 573808.
