There’s something magical about fireworks, and here in Cornwall we are very lucky to have some fantastic displays taking place throughout the county this Bonfire Night. So wrap up warm, grab your sparklers and get along to one of these illuminating events…

Heartlands, Pool

Saturday 5th November 2016 | From 6.30pm

Known for putting on a whole evening of firework fun, Heartlands is hosting its fifth firework display this year. As always, there will be fairground rides, food stalls, a bar and live music to accompany the bonfire and fireworks – a great evening out for all the family! Just be sure to arrive early as this is always a popular event.

Falmouth Cricket Club

Saturday 5th November 2016 | From 6pm

The town’s fire brigade put on Falmouth’s annual firework display, with live music provided by local radio station, Pirate FM. As always, there will be a children’s fairground ride, as well as hot dogs, burgers and doughnuts to keep you warm.

Admission is £4 per adult and £2 per child

Penzance – Magpies Football Ground

Saturday 5th November 2016 | From 6pm

Penzance’s spectacular fireworks display will be set to live music provided by Golowan Band. This event will also include a warm-up performance by Mounts Bay Academy musicians, a barbecue for all, plus hot and cold drinks and popcorn.

Admission is £6 per adult and £3 per child

Bodmin – Priory Park

Saturday 5th November 2016 | From 6pm

One of the largest fireworks displays in the county, Bodmin’s event is always a very popular one! Accompanied by music by John Williams (think Jaws, Star Wars etc), this year’s event will also include fairground rides and food stalls.

Admission is £3.50 for adults and £2 for children

Truro – Tremorvah Playing Fields

Friday 4th November | From 5pm

This year, Truro’s popular bonfire and fireworks night will include a children’s ‘Guy Fawkes’ competition – to be judged by the Town Mayor. Proceeds from this event will go to Cornwall Air Ambulance and Penhaligon’s Friends.

Admission is £3 per adult and £1 per child (over the age of 4)
