The barn holds a peaceful setting and a private outlook and lies within close proximity to the finest coastal scenery in Cornwall. The beautiful sandy coves of Porthtowan, Chapel Porth and St Agnes are all within 3 miles. Let time drift by idly relaxing on soft golden sands or lift the spirits by taking invigorating walks along the coastal footpath, marvelling at the splendour of heathery cliff slopes and rugged headlands.
The barn is detached from the owners' residence and of reversed level design there are elevated views over the surrounding countryside from a living room with a tastefully arranged oak fitted kitchen at one end. Solid oak flooring and an L' shaped cream leather settee feature in the designated lounge area which has french doors leading onto a balcony at one end to take full advantage of the view. Stairs lead down to three comfortably furnished bedrooms and a well appointed bathroom. To the front of the barn there is a barbecue area and behind there is a lawn for children to play. Of great appeal to adults is the shared use (with owners) of a hot tub and gymnasium located in a summer house. A great asset is a separate games room with pool table and darts as well as a laundry room.
There is a pub just half a mile away and a five minute drive will take you to the coastal village of St Agnes where local facilities include a bakery with coffee shop, butchers, greengrocers, pharmacy and newsagents meaning guests need never venture out to the supermarket. There are also several pubs and restaurants in the village including the Driftwood Spars at Trevaunance Cove which is home to a micro brewery and was in the Times top 50 pubs in the country in 2011. There is ample parking.
