Just a mile from Perranuthnoe beach and Marazion with the infamous St Michael's Mount, Rose Cottage is in a perfect position to enjoy the South and West coasts of Cornwall.
A characterful cottage within a thriving village of Goldsithney, potter down the road to find two good village pubs serving local ales and good food. The village also has a convenience store and post office and with a farm shop nearby and several supermarkets in Penzance, you won't go hungry.
This is a great place from which to explore everything this part of Cornwall has to offer. Enjoy breakfast in the pretty enclosed south facing cottage garden then pootle down to the sandy beach at Perranuthnoe for the day. Less than five minutes by car, this cute little cove is a locals favourite with two great cafe for after swim treats. The Victoria Inn is a 12th century traditional Cornish pub which serves fabulous food a definite must visit during your stay. Marazion is also just a mile away, another coastal gem, it is best known as the gateway to the fabulous St Michaels Mount as well as a mile long stretch of beach. Visit at low tide and walk across the incredible causeway or hop on the passenger ferry from the beach.
The area offers some fabulous walking so pack your boots and hit the coastal path towards Prussia Cove and Praa Sands in the east or along the level track towards Penzance in the west. The capital of West Cornwall, the latter is great for gallery browsing and cafe culture as well as being home to the Jubilee Pool, a fabulous art deco lido which is open in the summer months. Character and comfort are the order of the day inside Rose Cottage. The spacious sitting /dining room forms the heart of the house where you can catch up on the day's events in front of a roaring fire. The sunny kitchen is well equipped and the small table is perfect for feeding little ones. Upstairs, the three beautifully presented first floor bedrooms share a family bathroom with crisp linens and fluffy towels completing the picture.
