Lusty Glaze - voted 2017 Beach of the Year by The Sunday Times is your playground. Within a five minute walk is this beautiful horseshoe shaped cove with tall cliffs which shelter a sandy beach and the best surfing waves. Take in spectacular views down 133 steps to the beach restaurant and bar serving a day-long menu all year round, with regular live music right on the sand. You can arrange surf lessons, jet-ski tours, banana boat rides, abseiling, tight rope walking or kick back with a seaward facing beach hut (complete with deck chairs!) and soak up the beach vibe. A laid back destination which is popular among locals, and parents can relax with a seasonal life guard service. Head along the scenic coast road passing the seaside villages of Porth and Mawgan Porth to Watergate Bay, a spectacular two mile surfing beach which is popular with dog owners as there is no seasonal ban. It is also home to Celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver's restaurant, Fifteen Cornwall. Newquay is fun! Only a 15 minute walk from your holiday door is Newquay centre, awash with numerous beaches, shops, pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants. A top rated destination for families with children; Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium are a must-see!
