Envisage a cottage for that romantic get-away in the mesmeric location of Mousehole with its almost classic, time-stopping appeal of quaint stone wall harbour, intimate restaurants and traditional inns. Honeysuckle Cottage is an enchanting cosy dwelling, tiny yet perfectly formed for two, tucked away and screened from the road and just 200 yards from the quayside. Venture through the winding lanes of this fishing village and explore the fine galleries. The modern open plan living room with natural pine floors, serene decor and terracotta coloured sofa add warmth and style and the multi-fuel stove will be an inviting draw for that winter escape. The kitchen is well equipped and a narrow staircase leads up to an attractive bedroom with an antique style bedstead. There are coastal footpaths to unravel and explore with views around Mount's Bay or head for the water and enjoy a trip on a pleasure boat or take a seal watching expedition, all arranged from the quayside. The half hourly bus service to Newlyn and Penzance offers a wealth of attractions. You will be spoilt for choice with restaurants and pubs to tickle your tastebuds. Visit the National Trust gardens with exotic flora or take a look round the museums and quirky gift shops. Marazion, with its long stretch of beach offers fabulous watersports. You'll be spellbound by the drama and romance of St Michaels Mount, an island at high tide with fortress at the top, reached by foot by a narrow causeway at low water or ferry at high tide. Once there, discover the small harbourside community with shops and restaurants with views towards Lands End and the Lizard. Visit the breathtaking natural beauty of Porthcurno beach with its glorious southeast facing stretch of sand. By contrast, the famous Minack Theatre, carved from the granite stone cliffs and jutting enticingly out to sea, is a sight to capture. Parking for the cottage can be found in the nearby car park.
