We had a great time at Sea Drifters Cottage - a really comfortable stay! Mousehole was great, really nice when it was lit up with the Christmas Lights. We had a 3 hour drive and it was definitely worth it. We would give the overall stay 5 stars!

A much desired destination all year round, Mousehole will not disappoint! Traditional friendly inns, cafes for cream teas, restaurants, art galleries and gift shops dot the little lanes and make for a good browse, with coastal rambles and footpath follies delivering big ocean views. The harbourside beach is sandy and offers safe and sheltered bathing. The quay is bustling with fishing boats and excursions, watch with a coffee in hand or board a pleasure boat for a seal safari! The famous annual 'Christmas Lights' are fabulously festive, with the ocean and beach twinkling magically and mulled wine in abundance! Within a short drive are both Marazion and sunny Penzance town, both available by bus from the cottage, and busy with attractive streets lined with antique and craft shops, pubs and eateries for all tastes. Landmark attraction St Michael's Mount is majestic - venture across the cobbled causeway or take the ferry boat across to this part-time castle topped isle. The golden sand at Porthcurno Beach has a fantastic Mediterranean feel and the popular beach at Sennen with its aquamarine waters and white sands attracts the surfers, reached within a short drive/bus journey from the cottage. Dramatic Land's End is a must visit destination and 'Poldark' country and the National Trust mines near St Just boasts the most amazing sunsets! Back in Penzance, there are supermarkets and bakeries providing all the provisions, plus the ocean-side Jubilee swimming Pool and esplanade. .
