Godrevy is a first floor apartment in the old Porthcurno Hotel. The open plan living area is bright and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable sofas for relaxing. The windows look out over the valley where the sea can be glimpsed. The real luxury of this apartment is that both bedrooms, the double and the twin, have ensuites - one with a bath and the other a shower - and also wall mounted televisions. Godrevy is ideal for those guests who would like to be near the fabulous beach, Minack theatre and wonderful cliff walks.

Located in the beautiful Porthcurno valley, with its white sand beach, clear blue seas and spectacular rugged headlands, Godrevy is a well appointed second floor apartment with all the comforts of home; a spacious retreat for all seasons. This beautiful, peaceful valley creates the perfect environment for simply lazing on the beach, walking the rugged cliff paths and enjoying stunning views, or watching a performance at the ever popular Minack Theatre, carved out of the natural rock on the cliff edges, with the sea as a stunning backdrop. Porthcurno itself was the site of Britain's first major communications link to the Empire in 1870, where a chain of telegraph cables connecting Britain with India was completed. Godrevy is ideally located just a five minute stroll to the beach, coastal footpath, tennis courts (charges apply), The Cable Inn, the famous Telegraph Museum and the world renowned Minack open air theatre. It is one of the individually owned apartments, each with their own private entrance, which have been sensitively converted from the former Porthcurno Hotel. Visit the pretty fishing village of Mousehole, a 20 minute drive away with its quaint and timeless ambiance, with tiny harbour and charming streets of galleries, restaurants and traditional inns all serving fresh local fayre. The bustling port of Newlyn is alive with colourful boats and fishing vessels offering pleasure trips. On its shoulder sits the vibrant town of Penzance, on the south facing shores of Mount's Bay. Travel further around this arc of sand and visit Marazion, with its stretch of sandy beach overlooking the surreal St Michael's Mount. Tastefully presented with two comfortable en-suite bedrooms guests can relax in the uncluttered comfort of its interior. Large windows add a light and airy aspect to the living room which has lovely views across the valley and down to the sea. The modern kitchen is well equipped and a range cooker is a real bonus for those that like to cook. Outside is a private decking area with a bench seat and guests have access to the peaceful shared terraced gardens (please supervise your children). There are two reserved car parking spaces for Godrevy. We are sure you will enjoy your stay in this magical corner of Cornwall with all this holiday home has to offer.

2 bedrooms - Sleeping up to 4 Adults Seven stone and nine wooden steep steps up to entrance. Second Floor: Entrance Hall. Sitting/Dining room with 24" TV. Bedroom 1 Double with 16" TV and En-suite Shower Room with WC. Bedroom 2 Twin with 16" TV and En-suite Bathroom with shower over and WC. Other Amenities: Dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Telephone for incoming calls (honesty box provided for outgoing calls). Bed linen, towels and night store heating with over ride included. The property offers accommodation over one floor and has a mixture of carpeting and vinyl floors throughout. External doors are slightly narrower and shorter than standard 75cmx188cm. Internal doors are range from 76cm-81cm in width and are of a standard height. Kitchen worktops are a standard height of 91cm. The communal garden has a mixture of decking, steep stone steps and lawn. There is off road parking for two cars on a tarmac surface approx 50 Metres from the entrance. From the parking area, there are 16 steep steps with a handrail to the property entrance.
