Lower Rissick Cottage is a tranquil granite cottage set amongst the hamlet of Rissick Manor. It is very spacious for two guests and has a light filled open plan living room set beneath tall vaulted ceilings with Velux windows. The kitchen is well equipped and fitted into one corner, with a dining area and a cosy sitting area with sofa and electric stove for those cooler evenings. The spacious double bedroom is on the ground floor with a modern shower room. Outside, accessed from the living room is a secluded garden area,

A gorgeous, detached barn conversion with character for ramblers, romantics, beachcombers and those who simply wish to escape from it all. Situated less than a 10 minute drive from surfy Sennen Cove and iconic Land's End, Lower Rissick Cottage is wonderfully placed for coastal escapades and exploring the rugged character of Cornwall's magical Far West. Perfect for couples in search of peace, scenery and the fresh Cornish air, it sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty and within the grounds of the owners 17th century grade II listed farmhouse along with two other beautiful barn conversions (including Barney's Barn, sleeps 6 and The Old Barn, sleeps 4 which are also available to book). For walkers, the Penwith Peninsula offers spectacular open moorlands dotted with old mines and ancient monuments and a beautiful, wild and windswept coast path, well known for its access to remote beaches, tall granite cliffs and quintessential fishing villages. With its mile of fine white sand and azure sea, not only is Sennen Cove a popular surfing venue. It is one of Cornwall's premier visitor destinations with a first class beach-side restaurant, a charming harbour with a small fleet of fishing boats, art galleries selling work by local artists, a traditional pub, cafe, fish and chip shop and a recognised surf school offering tuition and equipment hire. Other amenities: FREE wifi, washer drier, travel cot, highchair, baby bath, child step and children's books/toys. (Please note, the fridge does not have a freezer compartment and there is no music system). Towels, bed linen and electric central heating included. The property offers accommodation over two levels and has a mixture of wood, rug and tile flooring throughout. There is a garden for guests sole use accessed through a low slung door from the open plan living room. There is off road parking for two cars on a level gravel surface located 5m from the entrance via a level gravel path.
