Second time in this property, had another fantastic week in this great cottage. More fantastic surf lessons from Smart Surf School which we recommend to anyone who wants to give it a go. Weather has been good. A lovely stay, thank you.

Within 1 mile of the beach at Sennen Cove • Fabulous holiday homestay for family, friends and couples • Walk to the pub • Short drive to fabulous resorts, coves and beaches • Lands End, St Ives, Mousehole and Penzance within easy reach • Wood Burner • Courtyard garden for alfresco meals and evening tipples • Pet friendly

A charming cottage, for families, beachcombers and ramblers, those who simply want to enjoy what this part of Cornwall has to offer, a great escape! Tregean Cottage is set just a mile from Sennen Cove, which offers spectacular scenery, with its mile stretch of fine white sand and sapphire sea. There is highly rated restaurant which sits above the beach, owned by the acclaimed chef Ben Tunnicliffe, as well as a traditional pub, café, fish and chip shop and a recognised surf school offering tuition and equipment hire. A view of Sennen Cove, unspoilt and picturesque, traditional granite cottages pepper the cliff tops and the gorse cliff face down to the shoreline where they keep watch over the ever changing ocean and the fishing boats moored at the ancient harbour. An uphill walk from the seashore leads to historic Sennen Churchtown (on the renowned Land's End to St Ives coastal road) and within its fold is Tregean Cottage. Dating back to the 1800's and with open countryside in its view and the ocean on the horizon; the cottage possesses immense charm and character. Guests will find it convenient for exploring the scenic coastline, hidden coves and beaches and rugged moorland with its Iron Age and mining ruins. This English Heritage listed cottage has all that you would need to enjoy a very comfortable holiday. On the ground floor is the spacious sitting room with wood burner and inclusion of electric heating makes this cottage an all year round destination, the kitchen/diner is great for family meals and leads out to a rear enclosed courtyard garden. On the first floor are all three bedrooms and the family bathroom. Return from fun days out to relax in the private courtyard or spacious and light filled sitting room. Pendeen Lighthouse and the museum at Geever Mine are within a 20 minute drive and the must-see Minack Theatre, carved from the granite cliff face is a magical sight reached within a ten minutes, book to see a performance you won't regret it. Penzance is a 15 minute drive with harbour, open air Jubilee swimming pool and sunny promenade. Iconic St Ives is postcard perfect, reached within 30 minutes by car.
