Simple yet super stylish, this traditional Cornish granite cottage is situated in the coastal village of Porthleven, minutes from the beach and atmospheric harbour with its impressive granite pier. Oyster Cottage is a cool renovation for couples and families with a calming and sophisticated coastal look. Enjoy the luxury of the location as you explore art galleries, gift shops and waterside cafes, traditional old inns and excellent foodie restaurants, including Rick Stein, Porthleven. Guests can walk from the door and two well behaved dogs are welcome. Porthleven Beach is a three mile long stretch of sand and shingle with a restricted area for dogs and life guard patrol during the main season. The nearby coast path traces tall cliff tops to Loe Pool, the largest freshwater lake in Cornwall. For a stunning contrast in scenery continue along the peaceful woodland trails at Penrose Estate and through dreamy Victorian parklands. The premier beach resort of Praa Sands and its coastal golf course is a ten minute drive. A little farther are the visitor hotspots at St Ives; Marazion (gateway to St Michael's Mount) and the Lizard Peninsula is also on the doorstep for secluded coves, traditional fishing villages and some incredible coastal scenery. Return from coastal jaunts to this romantic bolt-hole. Step inside and soothing grey is the palette of choice in the open plan living room. Discover a wood burning stove, exposed granite walls, wooden beams, good books, original local art and a statement sofa dressed with soft throws and scatter cushions. The kitchen area is small but perfectly formed with granite worktops, a Belfast sink and Metro white wall tiles. Dine on the freshest seafood from the local fishmongers beside the glow of the electric stove and retire to gorgeous bedrooms with rug topped oak wood flooring, ambient bamboo lighting and comfortable beds. The shower room feels indulgent with its clean, minimal design. Discreetly positioned, perpendicular to the road, Oyster Cottage is tucked along a path shared with the owners neighbouring home. To the rear of the cottage is a very small and enclosed paved garden with seating that is perfectly placed to catch the afternoon sunshine.

Narrow stairs with a low beam to First Floor: Bedroom 1 with 5' Bed. Bedroom 2 Single. Shower Room with walk-in shower and WC. Other amenities: FREE wi-fi, sound bar, induction hob, slim-line dishwasher, freezer and portable stair-gate. Board games and children's books. Bath towels, bed linen and electric central heating included. TWO PETS GO FREE. Dog towels, dog treats and dog blanket per dog. The accommodation is arranged over two floors and has oak wood, rug, tile and carpet flooring throughout. The external door is 204cm x 66cm. The internal doors range from 65- 74cm in width and 188-190cm in height. Kitchen worktop height is 89cm. The garden is accessed from the entrance and is a mixture of paving and paths. Parking can usually be found on the road beside the cottage or there is a public car park within a 5 minute walk.
