Just a mile further west is a larger beach at Maenporth. Pleasure boat trips depart daily from the town quay taking in the hidden creeks of the Carrick Roads or across to the pretty village of St Mawes on the Roseland Peninsula; a delightful spot to enjoy a drink or meal in one of the waterfront hotels. Hidden from view, Seabien is in a charming residential street just a few minutes' walk from the town centre; a sloping driveway and flight of steps lead down to the entrance. The accommodation is light and airy with a bay window in the living room affording spectacular views of the harbour. There are two pretty bedrooms, a spacious double bedroom with 5' bed and en-suite bathroom plus a twin bedroom together with a family bathroom making this the ideal base for couples or small families. The enclosed patio at the rear is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and the terrace at the front is furnished with comfortable wicker furniture, ideal for sundowners. Off street parking is available on the sloping driveway for up to two vehicles.
