Property Description

From its spectacular vantage point overlooking the historic harbour, Pennant Cottage affords guests the very best in terms of its location next to restful gardens and offering sweeping views across the harbour and Penryn River but being just a short walk from the town centre. There are wonderful vistas over the waterways from all its rooms, whilst the balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an alfresco dinner after a day exploring the many beaches, gardens or historic sites that are all easily accessible to you. The cottage itself is very comfortable, furnished to a high standard. It is best described as a tasteful mix of the traditional and contemporary. Earth tones and an open kitchen give the cottage an airy feel but there is also some lovely detail, such as the pretty bay window seats in the lounge and master bedroom. Step out of the property and a few moments walk will take you into Falmouth, which has so much to offer as a holiday destination, renowned for its large natural harbour, it is popular amongst sailing enthusiasts. Fishing and pleasure boat excursions can be arranged and a regular ferry service plies the waterways to Flushing and St Mawes. The town boasts many fine restaurants, friendly pubs and interesting curio shops. There is easy access to safe sandy beaches and sporting facilities, including an aquadome and a challenging golf course. There is one small parking space allocated.
