Property Description
Overlooking undulating countryside this lovely farmhouse is a welcome retreat for those seeking a quiet rural setting. Well off the beaten track surrounded by 140 acres of lush green farmland where cows peacefully graze, this is a wonderful location for exploring the tranquil creeks and inlets of the Helford River or the unspoilt coves and charming villages for which this lovely part of Cornwall is renowned. A substantial house ideal for two families or larger parties, its two staircases giving each family separate night-time accommodation. The two staircases also lend an element of versatility in that during the low season the property can be split to cater for the smaller family. Well furnished and comfortable, its spacious interior provides a restful setting in which to relax and unwind. Beamed ceilings add a traditional feature to the lounge, which also boasts an open fireplace. An attractive period style conservatory at the front of the house provides a sunny spot in which to sit and enjoy the far reaching views whilst the children play in the enclosed lawn garden. One end of the farmhouse is retained for the owners who are on hand if you require any help or assistance. A delicious cream tea will set your holiday off to a memorable start and you are welcome to watch the activity at milking time. Manaccan with its old thatched pub and Post Office stores is just over a mile away. There is plenty of parking in the farmyard and hard standing for a boat.
