Pella Barn, Nr Falmouth
Property Description
Tucked away down a private track on the fringe of this popular village, Pella Barn bears no resemblance to its former use as a humble milking parlour. A remarkable transformation of an old farm building, the accommodation within its thick stone walls is superbly spacious and aptly suited to larger family groups. All the rooms are of ample proportions, with tasteful pine furnishings adding to their country appeal. Enjoying a light and sunny double aspect, the lounge is both relaxing and comfortable. On chilly winter days you can experience the glow of cosy log fires from the wood burning stove which stands in its attractive stone fireplace. Doors lead out from the lounge onto a large patio where an attractive rockery with a profusion of plants, generates splashes of vibrant colours. The thoughtful owners have fully enclosed the lawn garden at the front of the bungalow, thus creating an ideal environment for younger children to play. So quiet and peaceful, the setting is quite rural, yet affords the advantage of a convenient location within a five minute walk of the village where there are useful shops and a pub. A scenic area to explore, dog walkers will enjoy the winding lanes that lead through glorious countryside taking you through the hinterland of the Helford Estuary to pretty creeks and wooded river banks. National Trust gardens and Maenporth beach are within a five-mile distance. There is ample parking and room for a boat trailer.
