Just 50 steps over grassy dunes will take you onto the soft golden sands of the popular family and surfing beach of Porthtowan. Flanked by small headlands, the location is unrivalled for beach lovers, surfers and walkers alike, and the sight and sound of Atlantic waves tumbling onto the foreshore will add an unforgettable magic to your stay. Children will adore building castles from the fine golden sand or searching the rock pools for tiny sea creatures at low tide. Just paces from the cove, Spindrift lies in a small neat terrace of modern cottages. Its interior is bright and fresh with a pleasing combination of a simple neutral décor, pale laminate flooring and pale green carpeting. Entry is straight into the attractively arranged lounge which is furnished with two comfortable sofas, and the adjoining pine fitted kitchen/diner has rear access to the sheltered sun-trap garden and a pedestrian 'right of way' for the neighbouring cottages. Upstairs the nicely presented bedrooms have uninterrupted views. A cosy retreat for all seasons, even on blustery winter days the coastal setting will entice leisurely strolls along the foreshore or an invigorating walk along the scenic cliff path to Chapel Porth. Just across the cove 'The Blue Bar' and 'Boardroom Restaurant' are popular for their delicious food and relaxed ambience. A small supermarket, pub, delicatessen, ice cream and surf shops are found in the village. There is parking for one car.
