Tucked away in the peace and tranquillity of the countryside, this 'little treasure' named after the owner's ancestor the renowned Captain Bligh, is the perfect away from it all retreat for couples to blissfully relax, unwind and enjoy quality time together. Set in 170 acres of farmland, quiet footpaths lead down to sheltered river banks where time can be idled away picnicking and fishing, or scenic rambles can be taken over nearby moorland to rocky tors. When your spirits are restored, easy access to the Atlantic Highway will transport you to the contrasting scenery of a coastline studded with white sand beaches and quaint fishing harbours. Nestling at the rear of the owners' farmhouse in its own private outlook with an elevated sun terrace overlooking the solar panel heated plunge pool, great imagination and flair has transformed a small tumbledown barn into a cosy hideaway. Cleverly maximising space, the interior is completely open plan apart from a separate wet room. A vaulted beamed ceiling adds a light, airy quality to a room where a cream coloured wood burner sits in a corner on a raised slate shelf and a cream sofa combines with carefully themed curtain fabrics and accessories to introduce cheerful splashes of colour against a soft neutral backdrop. Under floor heating and a galley kitchen that is well fitted and equipped add to the comfort. Whether catching the sun's rays on the terrace or taking a dip in the plunge pool, the cottage offers an escape from every day care and stress. There is ample parking.
