Stunning views over a beautiful cove of soft golden sand to glistening seas will be an unforgettable part of your stay at Crags. Tucked away in a quiet residential corner of Mawgan Porth just yards from the beach, the setting is perfect for lazy days of sun and sea. Lying on Cornwall's Atlantic coast between Newquay and Padstow, this is a wonderful stretch of coastline to explore and walks along the coast path lead to Bedruthan Steps and Watergate Bay (featured in the TV drama Echo Beach). A house of distinct character, its curiously rambling interior spans levels linked by little staircases up and down and essential for larger family groups, three of its bedrooms are virtually en-suite. All principle rooms have views, but nowhere are they more spectacular than from the lounge where time will be spent gazing out at the seascape through an immense floor to ceiling window. A comfortable room with beamed ceiling and a slate fireplace with a mock electric wood burner on the hearth, it adjoins a nicely furnished dining room. From the inner hallway an open tread spiral staircase (not suitable for young children) goes up to a playroom den complete with TV and Playstation which children will love to make their own. Off the hall lies a well fitted kitchen, a bedroom and a family bathroom. Small staircases at each end lead down to the main bedrooms. A large lawned garden gives ample scope for children to run around or fly a kite while you relax on the patio. On returning from the beach, an outside shower will hose you down and there is a store room for wetsuits and surf boards. There is parking on the drive for three cars.
