Less than two miles from Cornwall's most loved coastal town, walkers will enjoy the fifteen minute ramble along country footpaths to St Ives. Renowned for the old world charm of its quaint cobbled streets where old cottages cluster and a wide variety of pubs, restaurants, galleries and shops can be found, it is also recognised for stunning Blue flag beaches that offer safe bathing and good surfing. Lying in the heart of the little village of Halsetown, known for its very friendly pub and popular riding school, Chynoweth is a relatively modern semi-detached granite stone cottage set alongside the owners in pretty gardens, with far reaching views across open countryside. As you step over its threshold it becomes obvious that every care and attention has been taken to ensure a comfortable stay. Immaculately presented throughout, the contemporary styled interior is fresh and appealing featuring a mix of wood laminate, tiled or slate floors. In the lounge a dark chocolate brown leather suite surrounds a fireplace fitted with a multifuel stove for cosy evenings all year round. For ease of catering for all the family the kitchen/diner is not only exceptionally well equipped, but boasts a modern range oven and an American style fridge/freezer. A few steps away, a small conservatory leads out to the south facing patio and neatly lawned garden where many a happy hour can be spent enjoying the peaceful view. To avoid the hazards of parking there is very good bus service to St Ives, whilst Marazion, Penzance and Hayle are all within a convenient drive. There is parking for three cars.
