Property Description

Just a short distance from the golden sand beach at Maenporth, is a little haven called Pendra Loweth (Cornish for 'Village of Gardens'), ideal for lovers of open air and exercise. An excellent year round holiday destination and superbly suited for families, there are extensive on-site leisure facilities including a splash pool (open from Mar-Dec), children's play area, gym, all weather tennis courts, steam room, Jacuzzi and a cafe/bar (open from 6pm during the summer and October half term). The local beaches, including Gyllyngvase and Swanpool, have shallow water suitable for bathing and water sports (local hire facilities available) plus rock pools for children to explore marine habitat. There are many great sea front restaurants and cafes close by and five minutes drive away is the vibrant maritime town of Falmouth, home of the world's second largest natural harbour. The Helford River and Lizard Peninsula are a short drive to the east as well as the 'must-see' beautiful sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. This ideal base for holidaying in Falmouth offers modern and spacious accommodation, with French doors from the lounge opening onto a large area where children can play safely. The banks of the shallow stream that meanders through the valley abound with well tended shrubs and flower borders provide a relaxing backdrop. There is allocated parking for one car and extra visitor spaces nearby. A wireless broadband internet facility is available, free of charge, at the nearby café/bar.
