Property Description

Kenton offers panoramic sea views over St Austell Bay. Situated in a quiet residential close, the bungalow sits behind a small well planted garden at the front, in which springtime flowers flourish. Walking into the house your eyes immediately go to the stunning sea views from the living room. With two sets of French doors opening onto a broad terrace, this airy, comfortably furnished room with its solid wood floor and colourful rugs is a delight throughout the year. Steps from the terrace (please take care with toddlers) lead to a lawned garden surrounded by hedges and flower beds. Set away from the bustle of Mevagissey, but within a five minute walk (longer on the way back up the steep hill) of the narrow streets and working harbour, you are also close to beaches at Gorran Haven and Caerhayes. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short distance away and the Eden Project with its inspirational biospheres of tropical and temperate plants is within easy reach. As well as being an attractive cove Portmellon boasts a restaurant and a pub (both open March October). There is on road parking or parking for 1 car available on the steep drive.
