Tregithey Farmhouse shares the same secluded setting as Tregithey Barn, which has long been a favoured destination. Enjoying a glorious rural setting hidden down a long private track, peace and tranquillity are in abundance and you need not venture far for scenic walks beside picturesque creeks. A relaxing and private haven in which to enjoy the delights of the Cornish countryside, this 200 year old farmhouse retains immense character. Beamed ceilings and sloping floors are part of its old-world charmed interior. Spacious and well-equipped with the advantage of both a lounge and a sitting room, it offers comfortable accommodation for the larger party while still being cosy for small family groups. The kitchen has the traditional appeal of a large table for gathering round at meal times. Delightful gardens to the front and rear are the perfect spot to enjoy a summers day. There is plenty of room for boats and equipment at Tregithey and a private footpath leads down through Tregithey woods to the private quay on Carne Creek. Here visitors may moor their boats and enjoy boating and canoeing in seclusion. Nearby St Anthony is a wonderful spot for hiring a boat and exploring the tranquil creeks of the Helford river and the pretty sandy/shingle beach at Gillan is approximately 1 mile away. Manaccan with its excellent Post Office stores, restaurant and popular thatched pub selling great food and real ales are 1 mile away through the woods.
