Property Description

An old miners cottage dating back to the early 1800's, Middle Cottage is the middle of a terrace of three cottages in a peaceful and historic village. Now with all modern day comforts it still retains its traditional and welcoming feel. Beamed ceilings, a large granite Inglenook with a wood burning stove and attractive soft furnishings add to its cosy character. A delightful and cosy cottage set back from the road. The stable door from the kitchen at the rear of the property, leads on to an enclosed lawn garden. 2 miles inland between St Agnes and Perranporth, Middle Cottage is a perfect retreat for exploring this dramatic and historic area. It is well positioned for the coastal foot path (with a beautiful valley walk which starts near Mithian connecting to the coast path), rugged headlands, sandy beaches and surf, for which this coastline is famous. Mithian has a highly recommended pub, together with a country house hotel, both within a short walking distance of the cottage. The Cathedral City of Truro lies just 8 miles away, whilst the Eden Project and St. Ives are half hours drive away. There is off road parking for two cars.
