The Herriots, perfect for the whole family or a truly romantic break, is richly carpeted and furnished with style and is beautifully appointed offering the best for those who appreciate their comfort. Each room has an outlook instilling total relaxation. Commanding an elevated position at the head of a quiet residential cul-de-sac, the accommodation includes a large living room and master bedroom both with extensive views to the cove and sea; the front terrace also has full vantage of the panorama where morning coffee or an evening aperitif can be savoured. The bathroom and en-suite shower room are exquisite and the kitchen is very well equipped with many extras including stunning granite worktops and French doors to the garden. The patio to the rear of the bungalow provides a sheltered and secluded setting for leisurely al-fresco meals. The pretty cove and a seasonal beach shop and pub are just a five-minute downhill walk (a little longer to walk back!). A pleasant one-mile walk will take you into the busier Cornish fishing village of Mevagissey with its charming array of shops, cafes and excellent fish restaurants as well as an Aquarium, Museum, Model Railway and the Old Pilchard Cellars. Mevagissey offers many deep sea angling and shark fishing trips from the quay of one of England's last traditional fishing villages. There are also popular mackerel fishing trips which offer the opportunity to see other parts of the coast. Gorran Haven a little further to the east is situated at the most eastern point of the Roseland Peninsula, and swimmers can enjoy two sandy beaches offering some of the safest bathing in Cornwall. Picturesque villages, hidden coves, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the biosphere domes of the exciting Eden Project are all easily accessible. During the summer, a regular ferry runs between Fowey and Mevagissey. Guests will enjoy the variety this lovely property can offer for a memorable holiday. There is parking on the drive and in the garage.
