Hillside, Nr Port Isaac

The charismatic fishing village of Port Isaac is less than two miles away and it is possible to book fishing or scenic trips from the quaint harbour. The narrow winding lanes and pretty cottages may look familiar as it has been a popular location for filming TV series such as Poldark and more recently Doc Marin. Heading West, a ferry can be caught from Rock across to the Camel estuary to Padstow, where you will be able to enjoy a bit of retail therapy or indulge in fabulous seafood at one of the many fine restaurants in the town. The cottage is full of character with beamed ceilings, polished floors and a wood burner, which adds to the cosiness of the lounge, all rooms have convector heaters. Useful for children wanting their own space to play or just to sit and watch TV, the annexe to the rear of the garage provides extra living space and a wet room, ideal for coming in off the beach. There is a delightful enclosed South facing garden to the rear of the cottage, predominately laid to lawn with two separate patio area that catches the sun for most of the day. The nearest stores can be found at the fishing village of Port Isaac less than 2 miles away. There is parking on the drive for one car.
