An appealing country cottage with a pretty garden and a large south-facing patio, The Applestore sits on land that was once a large fruitful orchard. Part of a small hamlet of attractively converted barns, the surrounding farmland is a peaceful unspoilt backdrop away from the hubbub of Polzeath. Within rustic granite stone walls the accommodation features a welcoming and cosy living-room with a comfortable suite, set before a quaint fireplace that houses a small multi-fuel stove on a slate hearth; polished beams and deep window sills add character. The adjoining kitchen is nicely fitted and from the hall narrow stairs lead up to bedrooms with lovely rural views. Both the garden and patio are fully enclosed giving you freedom to relax while the children play in safety. So loved by John Betjeman the picturesque Camel Estuary and charismatic Port Isaac, the glorious surfing beach of Polzeath and the golf courses of St Kew, St Enodoc and Roserrow are not far away. A conservation village, Chapel Amble, its post office/store and pub are just over a mile away. There is parking opposite for two cars.
