Property Description
The Blue House nestles snugly in the heart of St Ives, set back from the main thorough fare, along a row of former fishermans cottages which date back to the early 1800s. An award winning seaside resort, St Ives requires little introduction and deservedly continues to draw visitors during all seasons. Conveniently located, the cottage is within walking distance of St Ives magnificent beaches and town centre where time can be spent exploring the quaint cobbled streets and browsing the curio shops and numerous art galleries including the renowned Tate. The harbour retains its sea faring traditions and the scenic boat trips and fishing trips arranged from here are ever popular among visitors. There is a wide selection of restaurants catering for all tastes and the numerous tea rooms and old inns are brimming with warmth and charm. The Blue house is attractive and comfortable, combining modern furnishings with period features. The soft white leather settees are a stunning contrast against the exotic decor in the sitting room and the nautical fabrics and wall hung pictures add a maritime atmosphere to the bedrooms. Arranged over three floors the Blue House offers ample accommodation for families and groups with three spacious double bedrooms (two with portable TVs) and a single bedroom and a bathroom (located on the first and top floor). The dining room caters for 8 and although modest and compact, the kitchen is immaculate and equipped with modern appliances.
