For year round relaxation and recreation, Falmouth continues to rank among Cornwall's most sought after holiday destinations and Pendennis Rise is superbly positioned to sample its many delights. A short walk from the property along the picturesque seafront will transport you to the long stretch of sandy beach that is Gyllyngvase and a little further along the coastline are the beaches at Swanpool and Maenporth. Blessed with a stunning shoreline and coastal foot path encompassing the world's largest natural harbour, Pendennis Rise is ideally placed for walkers and their pets to take full advantage!The car is not essential here with Falmouth's vibrant town centre and its host of shops and bars and restaurants serving world class cuisine within walking distance. The town is also home to the National Maritime Museum and the family-friendly and free Falmouth Art Gallery. Popular among new and seasoned visitors to Falmouth are the pleasure boat cruises up the River Fal as far as the city of Truro, the famous sailing waters and woodlands at Helford and Frenchmans Creek (immortalised by Daphne du Maurier). For the more energetic there is a host of water sport activities and Falmouth Golf Club which spans cliff tops and has stunning views across Falmouth Bay. The accommodation itself is comfortable and furnished to a good standard throughout. New chocolate brown leather settees complimented by soft throws and cushions feature in the lounge/diner and beyond here is a modern kitchen with access to an enclosed patio. (Children must be supervised on the raised patio.) Upstairs is a bathroom and a double and twin bedroom equipped with complimentary Body Shop toiletries and quality bed linens. There is off-road parking for two cars and a dinghy.
