With a magnificent vista stretching along the shores of Mount's Bay and encompassing St Michael's Mount, Song of the Sea is the ideal setting for year-round relaxation and recreation. Never short of interest or spectacle for the visitor, the ancient market town of Penzance offers an interesting mix of art galleries, smuggler's taverns, fine restaurants, sub-tropical gardens and a busy working harbour. It is an ideal base for exploring West Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with transport links from Penzance by helicopter and ferry. Stunning coastal walks stretch in either direction; towards Newlyn and Mousehole in the west and Marazion and Praa Sands in the east; transporting ramblers through a diverse landscape combining picturesque fishing villages, white sandy beaches, secluded smuggling coves and dramatic heather-clad cliff tops. Refurbished to a high standard throughout and inspired by the ocean, the interior features a spacious open plan sitting room/diner and amply equipped kitchen as well as a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs is an immaculate bathroom and three comfortable bedrooms equipped with ample furnishings and quality bed linens to provide accommodation that is both sumptuous and indulgent. Song of the Sea boasts far reaching sea views, the best can be enjoyed from the main bedroom and twin. There is an enclosed decked garden to the rear with gas BBQ and picnic table and parking can be found in front of the cottage or in the adjacent car park. Self-drive is not essential for guests staying at Song of the Sea with the rail station at Penzance and good transport links locally. Song of the Sea can be enjoyed through the summer months or as a warm and cosy winter retreat.
