Property Description
Steeped in folklore and the legend of King Arthur, the remains of a medieval castle perched on a headland with waves crashing onto the rocks far below holds a tantalizing fascination evoking images of times long past. Superbly positioned right on the headland facing seaward, guests will find themselves drawn to a wonderful vista of a wild rugged coastline stretching out before them and uninterrupted views will become a mesmerising feature of their stay. From the garden a flight of stairs lead up to this newly refurbished first floor apartment and once inside you will find it surprisingly spacious and well presented. Owned by a local artist renowned for her unique fused glass creations, items of her craft add individuality and colour to smartly furnished rooms. With its own special ambience, this is a comfortable retreat at any time of year and even storm filled wintery days will hold a special appeal as you relax in the lounge looking towards the sea and in the evening experience wonderful sunsets as the sun slips below the horizon. A large garden to the front of the building gives space for children to play while you enjoy the summer sunshine or a picnic barbecue. A five minute walk will take you into the town where a variety of tearooms, restaurants, bars and gift shops will cater for all your needs. Scenic coastal walks towards Boscastle and down to Rocky Valley with its iron age carvings are right on the doorstep and the golden sands of Trebarwith Strand are not far away. There is private parking for two cars beside the track in front of the property.
