Lying close to Eden's unique giant bio domes which support a living theatre of plants and the superb golden beaches of the Riviera coastline stretching around St Austell Bay, Phoenix House is ideally placed for visiting Cornwall's top attractions. A scenic region to explore a short drive can encompass the picturesque estuary town of Fowey, the charismatic harbours of Charlestown with its tall ships and quaint Mevagissey. From discovering the wonders of Heligan gardens to visiting the historic Norman castle of Restormel or taking a ride on the Steam Heritage Line from Bodmin, a variety of activities and events will add pleasure to your stay. A traditionally built detached house, guests will find homely and comfortable surroundings. Beamed ceilings, French oak flooring and an ornamental fireplace add character to an attractive lounge furnished with a cream leather suite. Tastefully appointed it has an open aspect into a dining area which then extends into a beautifully fitted kitchen. From the hall an open tread staircase leads up to two nicely presented double bedrooms, a spacious family bathroom with a corner bath and a bunk room. A sunny south facing gravelled patio area at the front of the property separates the house from the owner's detached cottage opposite. Quietly tucked away yet in the heart of St Blazey, friendly pubs and shops are all within a convenient stroll and St Austell is just a five minute drive away. There is parking for two cars. The garage is not available for guest's use.
