A perfect coastal location, Beachward lies in a private unmade no thru road sheltered from sea breezes and only 500 metres to Seaton's dog friendly sand and rock-pool beach, excellent beachside café, small shop and pub. Found on the gently curving coastline of Whitsand Bay, here you will find an opportunity to relax and take time out to explore this unspoilt and little known region of Cornwall. From Polperro and Looe to the west or eastwards to Freathy Cliffs and Rame Head, superb walking along the coastal path and dramatic seascapes await. Visit the period houses of St Anthony, Cotele and Mount Edgecumbe Country Park, all lie in the hinterland of the Tamar. As a change from sea and sand walk the trails of Seaton nature reserve where the river flows down to the sea and enjoy peaceful woodland picnics or let children play in the adventure playground. Newly refurbished the interior is light, spacious and attractively arranged to provide a relaxing environment for both young and old, even the family pet is welcome. Boasting a separate lounge and dining room guests can recline on sea blue sofas in front of a cosy wood burner or sit round the table with a leisurely meal freshly prepared in the smart new kitchen. Climbing up short flights of steps behind the property (not suitable for elderly or infirm) to a paved barbecue patio is rewarded by peaceful views over woodland and fields. To the front of the property there is a small sunny patio and off road parking for two cars.
