As soon as you arrive at Kit's Cottage you will feel that you are somewhere special. Situated in the coastal town of Marazion, it is moments from the two mile long tract of white sand beach yet secreted away in an adorable cottage style garden, screened from view with a mass of exotic plants and flowers. A detached bolthole set in the grounds of Sterling House where couples seeking romance will feel cosseted within white washed stone walls and discover a scenic coastline, fine restaurants, old inns and galleries nearby. Within a few paces the epic castle topped island of St Michael's Mount comes into view and there is immediate access to the coastal footpath which heads east to the picturesque cove at Perranuthnoe and west, along a level route, to Penzance passing a world recognised bird watching site at Marazion Marsh. Marazion's lifeguard patrolled beach is safe for bathing and popular among windsurfing and sailing enthusiasts and the world class beaches at Porthcurno, Sennen, St Ives and Praa Sands are also worth a visit. Although it might be difficult to fit it into a week-long break, Land's End, The Minack Theatre and the Tate Gallery should also feature on the intinerary for those who want to experience the best the area has to offer. For that special break, go the extra distance to the exotic Isles of Scilly by ferry boat or helicopter from Penzance or by plane from Land's End. Although compact, Kit's Cottage provides couples with comfortable accommodation to return to after fun filled days on the coast. The entrance opens onto an open plan living room fitted with solid oak wood flooring and incorporating a sitting area and a raised kitchen/diner with pleasant views over the garden and pond. An attractive bedroom with a super king size bed and en-suite shower room is positioned the rear. There is parking for one car.
