Set in a prime coastal position in the seaside town of Falmouth, with uninterrupted panoramic views over the harbour and a private waterfront patio garden, this detached architect designed residence has immense appeal. Tucked away on a former boat yard yet just moments from Falmouth's hive of activities, The Anchorage offers a secluded seaward facing setting and arresting views from every room and the first floor balcony!The sights and sounds of the sea are ever present and you could not be any more connected to the water with direct access to a private tidal pontoon from the foot of the patio garden. Approached through a narrow lane leading to two allocated roof top parking spaces, the accommodation is entered from the top floor into a small sun room where idle time can be spent watching the busy waterways across to Flushing and Trefusis Point through large picture windows. A spiral stair case leads down to the first floor open plan living room incorporating a kitchen with an island unit and French doors to a glass enclosed balcony. The first floor also incorporates a twin bedroom with sea views and an adjacent shower room whilst on the ground floor are two en-suite double bedrooms, the larger with French doors to the patio and a second LCD TV. Equipped with furniture for sun-bathing and alfresco dining, there is also access to the patio from the ground floor hall. Home of the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth boasts three beaches including the blue flag beach at Gyllyngvase which is a 10 minute walk. Numerous restaurants, old inns, bars, galleries and shops are within moments and the town also offers an 18-hole coastal golf course, water sport facilities and a BR station.
