Tri-Veru is a carefully furnished holiday home located in a very special residence within easy walking distance to the centre of Truro, and is ideal for leisure or business travellers. The whole of the west Cornwall coastline is easily accessible by car, and even more so from Truro Train Station which is easily reached by foot. By rail visitors can explore the coast and towns of Cornwall with ease, and is extremely convenient for cyclists. The name of the City of Truro is believed to have come from Tri-veru, the old Cornish word meaning three rivers, after the Kenwyn, the Allen and the Tinney. Close by, the river villages of Devoran and Feock and the Roseland are areas of outstanding natural beauty worthy of a visit, and within a short distance arrive at one of many beaches including Gyllanvase in Falmouth and surf spots such as Perranporth, Porthtowan and Portreath on the north coast, or simply explore attractions like the famous Eden Project or Tate Gallery. Within minutes guests can walk to the hub of Cornwall's premier shopping location with all the big names and unique independent shops, cobbled streets, fabulous markets as well as a great representation of the arts including The Hall for Cornwall which has exciting performances all year round. There is a fabulous selection of bars, cafes, restaurants and places to dance and enjoy live music. The accommodation offers slick comfort with items of intrigue, art depicting local images, clean lines and a great private decked terrace for barbecues. There is a kitchen and dining room adjoining a splendid living area with giant TV screen, Broadband Internet, SKY and iPOD docking station together with many DVDs to watch on cosy nights in. Only an occasional gentle hum can be heard of the trains nearby, nothing that would disturb a peaceful break. Private parking for one car, and public parking is nearby.
