Situated away from the main thoroughfare in a peaceful country setting, it is hard to imagine that the vibrant beach resort of Falmouth where there is much to see and do is little over one mile away from this handsome barn conversion. Oak is one of a select development of twelve luxurious holiday homes situated next to Falmouth's prestigious coastal golf course. It is a 10 minute stroll to white sandy beach at Swanpool and a little further to Maenporth and Gyllyngvase Beach, which has achieved the coveted blue flag award. Situated on the southwest coastal footpath, couples can embark on romantic strolls right from the front door step and there is private access onto the golf course and preferential green fees, making this venue perfect for a golfing holiday. Falmouth continues to rank among Cornwall's most sought-after holiday destinations. The town is home to a variety of shops, old inns, restaurants (including Rick Stein's seafood restaurant) and galleries as well as the National Maritime Museum whilst its busy waterways offer pleasure boat cruises to the cathedral city of Truro and the waterside town of St Mawes with its 15th century castle. A short drive to the east lies the Helford River and Lizard Peninsula and the beautiful sub-tropical gardens of Trebah at Mawnan Smith is a must-see for nature lovers. Oak is built to a high specification providing a contemporary home interior and a small enclosed garden (which is accessed by an outside entrance) plus a small paved seating area in front. The accommodation comprises an open plan living room with oak flooring and floor to ceiling windows creating a light and airy ambience. From here is an arch to the bedroom area and modern bathroom. There is parking for one car. Oak is suitable for larger groups when booked together with Ash, Maple or Rowan.
