Situated in the beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach, Falmouth. With onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area, an indoor plunge pool (Open 29th March until 2nd November 2013) and The Village Arms (Open 15th February to 2nd November 2013). Perfect for couples and small families, Daisy Cottage has light and bright open plan living accommodation with French windows opening to a south facing terrace. Guests will enjoy relaxing here in the afternoon sun with the calming sound of the stream as it meanders past. A well equipped kitchen off the living space provides the perfect backdrop for cooks to show off their skills whilst enjoying the company of the rest of the group. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a spacious double and a bunk room together with a family bathroom. There is a parking space and visitor parking nearby. Set on the far edge of the Village, Daisy Cottage enjoys access from the winding lanes which lead in from the Swanpool beach road. Whilst just a short stroll from the centre of the village, this spot seems to retain an air of tranquility, being beautifully planted, guests will enjoy seasonal highlights all year round. Spring daffodils, summer ferns, rhododendrons and autumnal oaks are fastidiously managed and make up just part of the award winning flora and foliage displays in the grounds. From the cottage you will enjoy easy access to the Village Pub and Stores and for those wanting a dip in the Splash Pool after a work-out in the Gym, look no further. Drawn to the Village because of the close proximity to local beaches, guests can take a fifteen minute walk along the pretty country lanes to arrive at Swanpool beach. Here you will find a sandy, sheltered cove that is popular amongst families. If you fancy lunch or dinner with a sea view we can thoroughly recommend Indaba serving delicious local fayre, and there are several other reputable cafes and eateries in the area. Just as convenient is the slightly quieter cove at Maenporth, again the perfect spot in which to spend a day on the beach but close enough to pop to for a couple of hours and an invigorating swim. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.
