Property Description
The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth is a village of purpose built and privately owned self-catering holiday cottages. Situated in the beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach, Falmouth. With onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area, an indoor plunge pool (Open 29th March until 2nd November 2013) and The Village Arms (Open 15th February to 2nd November 2013). Gillan offers the most comfortable accommodation for six people in an atmospheric woodland setting. It is a wonderful family holiday cottage, with the added benefit of an ensuite master bedroom. Gillan is an extremely well equipped cottage located close to a gently running stream and within walking distance of Maenporth Beach and much more. Cleverly presented, this cottage is furnished with taste and includes a spacious open plan design with French windows opening onto a patio and communal gardens. The kitchen has everything a chef could need. There are three bedrooms; two doubles (including one en-suite), and a twin, a family bathroom and guest WC. There is a parking space and visitor parking nearby. On the south side of the Village, set along the stream which runs the length of the grounds you will find Gillan. The sound of the stream as it winds its way toward the cove, as well as the whispering leaves, will ease you into your holiday, children can play Pooh Sticks on the ornate wooden bridge while you relax on your patio. As with all of the cottages, you are just a short walk from the Village amenities including the Café, Pub and Store and also the Splash Pool and Gym. Benefitting from the afternoon sun, the Village terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy refreshments. The Village of Gardens is equidistant between Maenporth and Swanpool beaches. Everyone loves Swanpool for the café, sand and swimming while Maenporth is perhaps a little more relaxed but equally as special; both offer fantastic restaurants and sandy shores so you really are spoilt for choice. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River. The Cornish Cottage Holidays team is always on hand to advise you on the area and to help you plan your stay with us.
