Property Description
The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth is a village of purpose built and privately owned self-catering holiday cottages. Situated in the beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach, Falmouth. With onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area, an indoor plunge pool (Open 29th March until 2nd November 2013) and The Village Arms (Open 15th February to 2nd November 2013). Quality, comfort and value-for-money best describe Mulberry Cottage. Stylishly presented throughout, it is a highly desirable residence suited to both couples and families. The open plan living room features luxurious and comfortable leather settees and doors to a large lawn garden (communal), which offers ample space for children to play whilst parents watch and relax on the private patio equipped with garden furniture. There is a pristine family bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor, one equipped with a flat-screen TV. Both bedrooms boast seriously comfortable mattresses, crisp cotton bed linens and a feature wall decorated with stylish wall paper. There is allocated parking for one car plus visitor parking. Enjoying the southwest aspect of the village, Mulberry Cottage enjoys fantastic access to the paths and lanes leading to Maenporth Cove. Walking to the beach from your cottage will take fifteen minutes or so, making it easy to leave the car behind for the day. Those wanting to enjoy a game of tennis are just a stone's throw away from the all weather courts and those wanting to avoid such strenuous activity will appreciate the secluded aspect of the patio. Even though you are toward the southern end of the Village the walk to central amenities will take just a few minutes. Here you can enjoy a meal at the Village Pub or pick up provisions from the store, those who have not ventured to the beach may enjoy a dip in the splash pool or some time in the gym. Perhaps the best work out to be had is a circular walk from the cottage, down to Maenporth cove, up across the spectacular coast path toward Swanpool and then back up through the lanes to the village; roughly five miles but well worth the effort for those wanting to soak up the best that this special location has to offer. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River. The Cornish Cottage Holidays team is always on hand to advise you on the area and to help you plan your stay with us.
