Upstairs, the bedrooms are attractively presented and the double room boasts a lovely double aspect and far reaching views. All beds are firm providing good support and comfort for guests, and there is good storage in each room. The small cottage gardens to the front and rear feature well planted borders with shrubs and plants that give year round colour, with useful herbs for home cooking. Across the lane there is a more open expanse of garden which gives children the freedom to play, while adults sit back and enjoy far reaching views or unwind with a family barbecue. A substantial new summerhouse furnished with wicker sofas is a wonderful garden room that will enable guests to make the most of their country retreat. The newly built garage is another asset as it allows guests to store bicycles and beach gear securely. Butterfly Cottage is hugely popular with families and couples alike and the friendly owners can arrange child or pet minding if required. The provision for pets and the comfort provided by the wood burner and range cooker ensure that out of season visitors are extremely well catered for, especially with the provision of ample parking.
