Situated in the beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach, Falmouth. With onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area, an indoor plunge pool (Open 29th March until 2nd November 2013) and The Village Arms (Open 15th February to 2nd November 2013). The whole family, including your dog, will love Compass Point. This well appointed terrace cottage allows you to bring your pet without having to compromise on quality, comfort and value for money. With views over a gentle stream towards a wooded valley from the front aspect, a relaxing ambience sets the mood for your holiday. Furnished to a good standard throughout, the accommodation comprises a spacious open plan living room with doors to a sheltered patio where parents can relax in the afternoon sun and watch children have fun on the communal lawn. It caters well for families with three attractive bedrooms and two WC's. Both the kitchen and bathroom are modern and there is parking for one car plus visitor car parking. Enjoying the south west aspect of the village, Compass Point benefits from easy access to the coastal footpaths and Maenporth Cove. Walking to the beach from your cottage will take approximately fifteen minutes, making it easy to leave the car behind for the day. Guests wanting to enjoy a game of tennis are just a stone's throw away from the all weather courts whilst those wanting to relax will appreciate the private patio. Just a few minutes stroll to the central amenities and you can enjoy a meal at the Village Pub or pick up provisions from the store. Those who have not ventured to the beach may enjoy a dip in the Splash Pool or a work out in the Gym. Perhaps the best work out to be had is a circular walk from the cottage, down to Maenporth cove, up across the spectacular coastal footpath toward Swanpool and then back up through the pretty lanes to the village; roughly five miles but well worth the effort for those wanting to appreciate all that this special location has to offer. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the river towards Truro.
